It's not as simple a situation as "LOUD has to match the salary that SEN offered Sacy and Pancada". Sacy and Pancada very clearly hold brazil dearly and they love their teammates. If LOUD had just offered a high enough salary that was higher than what they were being paid but not as high as SEN's offer I guarantee you Sacy and Pancada would've stayed with LOUD.

The issue here is that LOUD didn't evenn want to give Aspas a raise, and what's more, they prohibit him from hiring an agent to speak on his behalf. This is predatory at best and exploitative at worst

We're talking about a championship winning team that is being given free money by Riot as an official partner and which is unique among all other franchised teams in that it prohibits its players from hiring an agent to speak on their behalf. You have absolutely no clue what you're talking about.

LOUD was chosen specifically because they are not broke.

Scummy org that didnt want to compensate Sacy or pancada so they left to take SEN money; that should've been the first warning that they don't care about their players

aspas doesn't know english so no

Will you blame Aspas, Less, or LOUD as an org for not giving the best player of 2022-2023 a raise and being general scumbags regarding the entire roster's compensation?

it's nont so much a 6+ mann roster though so much as an opportunity to get a place to replacements in case youi want to change things up mid season. Like think of Sentinels' situation for example

So apparently the rules for VCT 2024 are being changed a little to allow every VCT Partnered Team to partner up with a team in the Challengers circuit, which would allow them to use any of their players as subs throughout the entire season regardless of roster locks; in exchange, the VCT team (with its Riot money) will pay the challenger's players t2 salaries and if they do promote one as a sub they will have to pay them a franchising salary.

I actually really like this. For one, it's not mandatory, it's an option on the table for a lot of tier 2 teams who might be skeptical of the financial viability of pursuing valorant t2. It will keep a lot of teams around; especially in the case of another long off-season. Teams that are in desperate need of money will take it and teams that know their players are good enough to win the whole thing might not.

It will definitely keep a lot of teams circulating around t2 for sure. And it will also give t2 players a lot of chances to prove themselves on the big stage which is healthy for the ecosystem

bro have you learned nothing from who succeeds in competitive valorant these last two years.

I would pick up NiSMO and JonahP before I picked up Asuna and TenZ because they know hella flash lineups and how to set up their team better than anyone else and get the necessary info for their team to succeed.

If we're talking purely about who's a better player in this regard, Asuna fits into a tier 1 team a lot better than TenZ; he plays his role as a flash initiator incredibly well--although they both have issues with overheating. What's more, Asuna can play Kayo or skye depending on the map while TenZ can only play Kayo decently well.

I looked at the Esports hub in the game launcher and under "Partnered Teams" BLG, FPX, and EDG show up. Does this mean they're officially partnered with Riot now or are they still just technical shoe-ins?
