I mean I wouldn't make a bet on next season when we're not even done with champions yet so I agree to an extent 😅

posted 11 months ago

Have to wait and see. Sp3 is still long and from t2 orgs POV there is no point to keep the roster while there's no tournaments to play. So there's a chance that orgs might "disband". This already happened to REJECT VARREL and Scarz and Northeption ( both to an extent)so the market is kinda open rn. But can't say the same for the top 4 tho ( FL, SG, RID and MRG)

posted 11 months ago

It's probably a bad idea to predict given that we're still far from the next season. But I genuinely believe that this year's zeta was kinda fucked by its own circumstances real bad. So I won't be surprised if they end up doing well next year

Japan and bc swell cause they're gonna flip vcj sp3 upside down and yowamu will finally have his redemption 🔥🔥
Nvm there's no bc swell flair.

You can use murash flair tho

what I tried to highlight is the real short term as in yesterday and today (the contrast is very visible 😅). This is still talking about official channel and tbf on the YouTube side things looked more stable.

Besides , laz and Shaka still rakes in views so yeah as long as riot kept their cards on check ( ability to utilize watch parties) then all good tbh.

But yeah the long term is not looking good rn.

Guys , until now all the remarks I made about the decision to move ascension from Tokyo to jakarta , pls take them with a grain of salt.

This is just me venting my frustrations as I keep feeling that vcj being treated horribly by riot. At the end of the day I'm just saying whatever I want and are just irresponsible.

I will still talk about this , but I will try to put words like "(theory)" or "(opinions)" just so you guys can know this isn't the objective truth, this is just me talking about what I feel and know about this .

posted 11 months ago

Ah I see , you're right, as long as no concrete proofs are available my words are probably as worthless as Jake sin's or kohei's , meaning there's no proof at all.

To be fair I started to pin the blame to riot is purely from rage's statement on why ascension will be held in jakarta , and I think that their statement is totally bs , if anything their statement practically says that riot is the one who's responsible.

I made my 2 cents on why rage isn't that guilty, but at the end of the day it's just a theory from me 😅.

I think I'm gonna make a statement about me spreading misinformation 😅 so no one actually believes them and not taking them with a grain of salt.

posted 11 months ago

I dont need to see the long term I can see the short term now lol, views on official valorant JP twitch never passed 10k , aside from VCJ GC , this is practically unheard of in the history of vcj as far as I'm concerned. And for those who don't understand views in jp official below 10k is just bad bro , like declining by 50%(cmiiw)

posted 11 months ago

Wait so you're actually with my side or not? 😂

posted 11 months ago

Ok you have a point, I actually forget to check the sources, BUT, I think there's an incentive to save face between all parties( Jake sin, Rage, Kohei , etc), what I'm getting at is there's an incentive to lie.
it's not in my position to say this but in reality all vdka did is just join as a "competitor" , he's not in the "management " side, to put in frankly , vdka is just representing the community while Jake sin Kohei and rage represented riot pacific, VCJ and rage respectively.
Besides this sentiment about rage struggling to find a venue after riot decided to turn single elim to double elim actually comes from the japanese community themselves ( admittedly I never checked the japanese sources, someone on vlr told me this.) but it made sense and it can sort of explain the other reasons that Jake sin and co didn't touch

posted 11 months ago

So now I have 2 people to hate 😂.

Jokes aside , in my own defense when it comes to ascension it's riot who's in the driver's seat. And the main driver is Jake sin with the second guy in charge is Kohei. Besides, my vitriol towards both of them isn't new. Like single elim in ascension is far from my concern when the import rules are still Flawed af.

Valorant champions japan or vcj is the place some called home , some called vcj as sanctuary, and some called vcj as a house. Whose house do you ask? This is the house where absol spread his glorious blessings across the road to champions, and where the choirs of vcj's casters can be heard. Some have claimed that these choirs blessed their ear and lead them to reach radiant in one night. Some have said absol worked as the producer of blessings and casters acts as it's messengers. But what can I say , all of this is just a theory

And of course these are the place where injustice happens frequent. The branch of yowamu has been tattered and sullied all the way back and now he is looking for redemption by forming an alliance with BC SWELL which is headed by the one and only all-seeing-eye Cullan "Pirateflag" Smith.

I forgot to mention that inside the house of vcj there are branches of beliefs with absol and yowamu being one the many branches that existed.

That "tier 3 region" basically acts as the only lifeline for tier 2 pacific , so if J0ke s0n really cares about his job then he should

posted 11 months ago

It never was, the real reason is most likely because J0ke s0n thought he would gain good reputation by making single elims to double elims.

He did not realize doing that means RAGE ( Japanese TO ) had to run around like maniacs just to find an emergency venue , because most venues are booked 1 year earlier and a double elim is a day or 2 longer than single elims, or RAGE tried to persuade riot not to turn this to double elims because they know it's futile looking for a replacement venue(the persuade theory is from my opinion) , ultimately this didn't work and J0ke s0n has to move to Jakarta

J0ke s0n is an esports manager and should stay as one tbh , he can't manage business for shit

posted 11 months ago

I once made 2 or 3 remarks about jake sin been taking these viewerships for granted, and I'm proven right today.

posted 11 months ago

Yeah I think that's the case tbh 😅

posted 11 months ago

Imma also add that Jake sin knew that there's a loophole happening around vcj's import rules and still did nothing(tbf they did something but it's practically nothing)

or even the fact that VCJ has the most amount of korean players which is a sign of problems in VCK and VCJ and Jake sin often looked the other way.

But I think this one isn't the case, this is just Jake sin being a dumbass, he should've known that venues are scheduled a year earlier and he still chooses single elims. By the time he overturned the decision RAGE(jp TO) can't do anything to add one more days one the venues hence them leaving. Tldr: Jake sin is stupid.

And btw about your conspiracy, I've been feeling it the all this time .

Tbf the teams they're facing so far is with all due respect , not good. I'd say the real test starts if they managed to get a win against mongolz or the top 6 teams but yeah they deserve a higher placing going by the pace of their matches

Lol I think riot didn't do their research when someone on the board says " let's hold ascension in japan " 🤣.

Rage really became the scapegoat because of riot's indecisiveness 💀. I expect J0ke sin is currently being rinsed over the phone so badly by RAGE'S CEO rn 🤣

posted 11 months ago

Jealousy is a hell of a drug or so they say

posted 11 months ago

Wait so rage couldn't get an extension ( which is impossible from the condition you've just pointed out) , for an out of a sudden decision that riot made?

Yeah I think rage really had their hands tied.

Hot take, I think riot pacific is really a bad business partner for RAGE. This information if true actually says a lot more about riot than RAGE to me. If I am RAGE's CEO I'll be putting Jake sin's head on a pike right now 🤣

Assuming that all of this is true ofc

Idk but they are playing right now, or unless they play under a name that has no connection to zeta ( ignore the name )

posted 11 months ago

Now I'm sad lol Fav just released 2 of their players and cgz basically threw away their cards ( flax DH and more importantly hyunmin). I think the competition going to advanced stage phase 1 will be much lower than sp2's advanced stage.

I'm also afraid of the implications of the mongolz playing in vcj

I think this time bc swell will definitely qualify to main stage and yowamu will finally have his redemption 🔥

posted 11 months ago

One of the ways you can play in Tier 2 ( in my case is VCJ) is winning through premiers. But does a tier 1 teams' academy roster apply?

I'm saying this because " ZETA Academy A" has been killing it in Japanese premiers going 5-0 and the scores aren't close either

https://tracker.gg/valorant/premier/standings?region=AP_JAPAN

If the conditions are right they actually have a chance to earn the chance to qualify to VCJ.

posted 11 months ago

So the problem has to be riot's scheduling and scale. The 1 month gap is clearly not enough. But riot can't forward the schedule much more as that would make sp1 pointless(if they aren't already).

Let's be real, an indonesian or Indian getting a visa to japan will take a long time unless someone hand over bribes 😅. So in the first place , the decision to hold ascension in Tokyo is already a bad move.( counter point : prx can get the papers done going to masters berlin while bren esports couldn't , so the orgs can also be a factor when we're talking about visa
Source : https://www.vlr.gg/35778/bren-esports-unable-to-make-masters-berlin )

And also riot pacific wants to save money 😅

posted 11 months ago

Tbf you don't want to hand over your private details to riot and sen , you'd hand that over to the police😅

posted 11 months ago

It sounds to me like RAGE is the primary scapegoat here 😔. And I don't think the response will be that heavyhanded from other parties , they are one of the biggest TOs in japan (or the more popular ones) for a reason😅. Companies have come back unscathed from mishaps like this.
