You're over-analysing what probably and most likely is an "inside joke"

I just downvoted your comment.

FAQ

What does this mean?

The amount of karma (points) on your comment and Reddit account has decreased by one.

Why did you do this?

There are several reasons I may deem a comment to be unworthy of positive or neutral karma. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Rudeness towards other Redditors,
  • Spreading incorrect information,
  • Sarcasm not correctly flagged with a `/s`.

Am I banned from the Reddit?

No - not yet. But you should refrain from making comments like this in the future. Otherwise I will be forced to issue an additional downvote, which may put your commenting and posting privileges in jeopardy.

I don't believe my comment deserved a downvote. Can you un-downvote it?

Sure, mistakes happen. But only in exceedingly rare circumstances will I undo a downvote. If you would like to issue an appeal, shoot me a private message explaining what I got wrong. I tend to respond to Reddit PMs within several minutes. Do note, however, that over 99.9% of downvote appeals are rejected, and yours is likely no exception.

How can I prevent this from happening in the future?

Accept the downvote and move on. But learn from this mistake: your behavior will not be tolerated on Reddit.com. I will continue to issue downvotes until you improve your conduct. Remember: Reddit is privilege, not a right.

Hopefully G2 managed to significantly improve between EMEA and now, thus possibly making them underrated for this tournament.

You can get covid even after a full vaccination course. But the vaccine is gonna help in making sure that the episode feels more like a mild flu, rather than having to wheel you into ICU

I think other teams would protest the tight schedule for sure. tbf Riot could have somewhat avoided all of this if they didn't cheap out on renting the venue out for longer and then even have a significantly better bracket structure

posted about 2 years ago

Really difficult, as the venue is booked in until 19th September and as far as I'm aware the players require 5 days of quarantine minimum. That means rescheduling of group stage brackets is nearly impossible.

Unless Riot are geniuses and are able to figure something out

For me personally, Bottas out -> Russell in doesn't change anything, Mercedes is still the team that I wanna see lose because they have been dominant for way too long.

More like, they are incapable of adapting to a different playstyle, rather than "relying on old strats". They are trying to play different to how they were playing at Reykjavik, that's for sure, but unfortunately for some reason are simply unable to match the level of other teams when attempting to play a little bit differently.

Did g2 just bust themselves doing account sharing? :D

would be peak absurd comedy if Riot decided to do a competitive ruling about this instance of account sharing

What was that Heretics internal drama that basically resulted in -4 people? Any Spanish peeps got juicy rumours on that?

Initially Trump imposed it to "curb" covid cases, but fuck knows why Biden is continuing the policy. One could joke that he simply forgot that such policy exists in the first place :D

posted about 2 years ago

The reason why Riot had to do this is due to the fact that USA still has a federal ban on travellers(aka non-US residents) to the United States. It's currently looking unlikely that Biden will lift the ban anytime soon, therefore Riot is left with no other choice but to host Champions in a different location.

All this trashtalk is simply meant to generate social media interactions. Orgs then use their social media interaction numbers to secure more sponsors and therefore get bigger. Bad publicity is still publicity, which is a classic trick in muh marketing textbooks

Edit: in other words, you are literally getting baited by orgs to give them social media interactions in the shape of comments, likes, retweets
