Just because 100thieves started well doesn’t mean they’re going to continue moving upwards. Stop using this logic it’s so flawed.

it's not a given either really. there's a world where 4 out of sen, lg/v1, ghost, knights, geng qualify ahead of them. Sure they beat some of these, but they were close matches and teams will now play around their good maps better
ghost?? They lost to Team Basilisk and it wasn't even close I think EG, DZ, NYFU or even T1 have better chances
because they got their fucking house robbed and didnt sleep.
How about their mental?
How about how many time they spent talking to the police and shit?
How about the fear they might have that this could happen again
i mean its not guaranteed but look at guard. looked decent w a new roster and a good coach during open quals. destroyed group stages and qualified to iceland. not saying its gonna happen for 100t, but the logic isnt as flawed as u think
I mean a 3 week old team was 1 round away from qualing, multiple times, chances are they improve for next week
The inclusion of gMd and Seven occurred roughly at the same time of 100t's restructuring.
yeah but there's a huge difference here. Seven was essentially a 1 for 1 trade with Wardell (oping chamber for oping chamber/jett on some maps), so the main change was switching gmd for aleko, so they only had 1-2 role switches (I don't think Rossy played Sova before), while 100t is a completely new team, and even their two remaining players switched roles completely, and their entire coaching staff changed too. Tsm did do an incredible job, and I love the changes they've made. I think that 100t has a good chance of making the quals next week. If they don't, they should def keep this team and come back insanely strong next year.
I can understand that. I was just saying that TSM had similar (although smaller) hurdles to overcome. I wouldn't doubt that 100T will improve within the week to qualify either way.
Roster is mid, don't know why they are rolling through mid players, putting them on 10 day contracts. Team will never be good again if they don't stick with a roster, however their current roster looks trash. They should qual, but don't think they will compete at all with top 5 NA.
How many of The Guard's players did you know before they came onto the scene? You don't have to have big named players for success. If you grind with a good coaching staff then you can become just as good if not better in the case of The Guard.
They aren't just gonna stop improving. It is not crazy to think that if a team is improving they will continue that trend, since there is no indicator they are slowing down.
they have been playing together for 3 or 4 weeks max, of course they're still gonna improve a lot, that's not a stupid argument at all
