loud is a good team but i dont understand why so many people think they're gonna win against optic/the whole tourney, they only played 2 matches on the international stage for now, anything can happen
and LOUD played the likes of TL and G2, both teams suck. G2 was never good and TL lucky to be there so now LOUD will really be put to the test.
This type of argument makes no sense.
What if I say something like "optic is trash bc they lost to APAC seed 2, that didn't qualify"?
Zeta is here to prove that you can beat those you already lose (they did it 2 times already in this masters)

while the gourd got stomped by PRX. and DRX lost to Zeta and Liquid put up a better performance against Zeta than DRX + G2 2-0ed zeta that drx couldnt even beat

Ok, I might not be the right person to answer this, bc you could think this is biased, BUT:
I think most of the hype is bc this is BR Superteam, and they didn't lost yet (16W-0L since Pancada e Amigos).
The strats and good leadership from saadhak IGLing combining with their insane aim is what people likes the most.
And they beat EMEA seed 1 and 3, when people expected them to lose, so this counts too.
DRX is a really good team dude. They lost to Zeta, but they beat PRX who 2-0d both The Guard and G2

that's not what's happening here. i'm actually saying exactly what you're saying. agreeing with you that this kind of logic makes literally no sense, as this tournement has proven. a lot of factors can influence which team will win or lose, it's not math.
