This Masters has been looking much easier for DRX than KR qualifier tbh
but I get your point. KR+JP LCQ is needed tho

by that is latam an even bigger 1 team region? no one could compete with kru and their second seed couldnt even take a map off nip
and just because 1 or 2 teams only can compete with drx domestically doesnt mean they cant play well internationally, nuturn still has kr’s best performance and all of kr placed 3rd-5th in lcq

no other team can prove themself if they get one slot only, no region deserves 1 slot and it should just be 16 teams and i get where your point comes from its that the slot distribution has not been good enough to let more teams prove themselves

I got ur point, but if we just concern about viewership, SA/India deserves a dedicated slot too
but sadly Indian teams cant performs well in APAC playoffs, just like TR/MENA in EMEA
and of course we don't want to see teams from India or TR/MENA being crushed in major LAN event like this

about MENA, I think they had a same problem with non-Indian teams in SA qualifiers.. but yea, still, they need to prove more in their own region before having a direct slot

Stop w Turkey having their own slot man, we really don't want it as much as you guys make it out to be. Sharing spots with CIS/EU is much better than having our own direct slot cuz we dun wanna end up like we did on LoL. That is, we actually will have a decent chance to make a deep run if we get by the actual contenders, being CIS and EU. Having our separate slot will kill the scene in the long run

I don't necessarily think that.

We have only two teams competing in challengers, currently even one. This means that most teams don't even play with Europe/CIS that much.

If we would have an own slot, we would have an own challengers, meaning more price money to be distributed within Turkey, resulting in more money for Turkish teams. And we would still have one team competing internationally against other regions (just instead of Europe, we get the chance to play against all regions). You can also look at the improvements Japan or Brazil made, even though they have their own slot. Therefore, I don't necessarily agree with this comment.

It took Japan 4 consecutive LAN's, for Zeta 2, to get even a bit better, BR literally sacrificed 3 teams to build their own Superteam, which we can't because our best players are in EU and they have high buyouts. We can only get better w constantly going up against EU, since we can't import players and whatnot. VRL ain't helping at all cuz our best teams still got diffed hard against tier 2 of EU. This is the only way

I dont know how much slots it would be, but... I think they need to change the number of teams from 12 to 16 or 18.

Maybe something like ( U can change 1 spot from Brazil to anyone or put 3 on the American Qualify to be more fair)
