I feel like it's more so that during challengers, everyone wanted a team from their subregion to win, but now that only 2 remain and have gone to masters, everyone is gonna support both of them wholeheartedly because we come from a region that is seen as 'minor' and we all want to prove that we are just as strong as everyone else is.

what's the problem? this is how competition works, if xerxia not made into master just say boom made it, would u hate and talk shit to boom or u will rooting or cheering for team that representitive ur region?

15 countries are fighting for 2 spots. Each region and subregion will cheer for a team from their region and go against those who stand in their way. Once the teams are chosen, they all root for each other because for this international competition those 2 teams represent all the 15 countries. It's a cool level of unity once the dust settles imo.
