Latam BR I think ping will be problem
while KR and JP is closer and can be happening
Even in BR ping is a problem because it doesn't exist a north server. If you play in the north of BR it's easier to just play NA because the ping is actually the same.

Now imagine the shitshow for fusing the two reagions.
but in counter move the reagion would develop a lot because they will have to play against the top Korean Teams to win something.
In counterpart there is language barrier.
you see japanese teams often with korean players so I don't think there's a language barrier, also it just makes sense, JP will get better as a region as they have to fight against a better region
JP is consistently performing poorly internationally so I think this makes sense

TOP 2 from each region go against TOP 4 from VCT BR

Kr + Jp is a bad idea
Every good team will just be the all korean teams and will ruin interest among the japanese
So? It shows who are the best, and the best are meant to go master and champions
by that logic, just give emea half the spots and don't give brazil or jp any
yup. yet riot isn't doing that and will never do that. They need big regions with high viewership and investment like jp to have some international presence to keep them from losing interest, not merging them with a strong region and never having representatives.
also, I don't believe that jp is going to lose all the time, because every player or team is changing and getting better.
