seriously tho, i know this is them letting their foot off the gas, but since London I genuinely haven't seen them play a good full match once.

They're just so fucking out of form right now. Roles/comps still don't look figured out on a bunch of maps, and we haven't had a single actually good map. And no, don't say Summit lmao, the comp is right there and we can't even attack with it.

The fundamentals look awful too:

can't trade for shit
spacing is so bad
Jason is so off on smokes rn
Davai HAS to be on senti. I know they keep saying "we're too aggressive, we don't want senti" but bro, for the last 5 years they've basically only looked good with a senti comp. Maybe Split DD is the exception.
Invy starts maps so fucking slow, just count him out for the first 5 rounds at this point
JJ keeps going 5 miles ahead of everyone with zero chance of follow-up, and he's been insanely hit or miss lately

Like I don't even know what the solution is rn because so many things are just off at the same time.

Ilya getting back into form is genuinely the only hope I have at this point.

Honestly it's just that they need to work on their map pool. I'm happy they bombed because they definitely need the time to figure out what they want to do on Haven, Abyss, Ascent. I think if they took a day or two off practice and then put focus on what made them so good (good spacing and communication on top of their aim), they can regain their momentum and regain focus on patching their weaker maps while strengthening the already stronger ones on comms and spacing alone.
