If G2 were gonna keep Babybay for the year and mainly put him on Chamber, you might as well have just signed Yay. Also Yay is a way better double duelist flex as well

yes if G2 bombs out of playins we need to instasign yay and alym and just get as many reps as possible

you can slot yay in 1:1 only for the chamber maps
the rest of the games he needs to play neon waylay and he fs isn't gonna do well
phx maybe works but I also don't see yay being a good phx considering how slow and methodical he prefers to play
Maybe G2 can finally switch their comps to something actually good. Look at LEV, they play Jett/Neon and Chamber/Phoenix/Neon all the time. Yay can fill Chamber and Jett, and Jawg + Leaf can split the other duelists

yay has a decent astra and I'm sure he could learn omen
all he needs to play then is jett chamber omen/astra and valyn plays viper or something
Babybay wasn't a good neon waylay either and yay can atleast somewhat play yoru
Said this when babybay was signed I think he is a SOLID player and teams do need solid players but G2 don't need solid players they have multiple of them already.
They need star power and players that can take over a game because every international they're always solid but one player will shit the bed and they have noone who can take over the game when that happens.

Babybay is a good pro and better than most but he isn't and never was the piece G2 needed.
Could have signed demon1 but they didnt take him as a sub for leaf and then they didnt sign him when all babybay does is play chamber
The problem is they can’t play double duelist, so they kicked their midrounder and still can’t play double duelist
