EU CS players watched every other CS scene die because the TOs did whatever they wanted (except BR and RU-CIS) and they didn't bother caring with the CSPPA. Now you lost NA and the entirety of Asia, with Val gaining ground in EU-BR and orgs increasing their investments in their rosters, de facto threatening their ecosystem because CS players do have the fundamentals that transfer well to Val, meaning orgs will poach them. If you wanted the players to stay, maybe you should have fought for them when they were getting fucked. Miss me with that hypocrisy

Val will get more viewer numbers coz in esports what matters is content rather than actual skill at least at this stage. I have no doubt it will change and youll see more boring teams become dominant in the scene as the meta evolves but right now its basically a 5 stack pug league compared to cs (IT WILL CHANGE IM NOT FLAMING VAL AS A GAME DONT GET TRIGGERED)

This "easy game" shit is so lame. Pretty much all competitive multiplayer games have a practically infinite skill ceiling, the ceiling is created by the players you play against, not the mechanics inherent to the game. You can argue the skill floor is lower, but that's because it's a new game.

if you play against a human the game can't have a difficulty (within reason). No multiplayer game/sport is easier than another. Skill floor? maybe. Skill expression? sure. but every multiplayer game has an infinite skill ceiling, you can always be a better player.

Valorant and CS have very similar gunplay.
Now add multiple agents and over 30 abilities that dramatically change every encounter.
Now imagine thinking that CS has a higher skill ceiling because its older and has more janky gun mechanics.
In a year we are going to look back at these vods and laugh because everyone is so bad. no one is even close to the skill ceiling this game has.

Nah they put NA CS is in a dead or dying state because a decent amount of them quit and gave up. Others obviously saw the new opportunity and there definitely was. But pretty much every NA player who switched was t2/t3 and a lot of them were washed and just stealing paychecks in valorant now.

i have steam friend list with over 300 people who all played cs and for over 1 year i see almost none of them play it. everyone says its boring, trash. i remember when i got invites every 10 seconds when steam was on now its all quiet. everyone playing random games or valorant. its a fucking dead shit game and niko is just big in a trash game and the most cs fans are all 40 YO. all the former cs 1.2 players follow cs scene. fuck niko, fuck cs!
