Hello, I will be discussing VCT CN Stage 2 transfers and giving my personal views on whether they've improved or gotten worse as a result. (Note: only talking about main rosters, not subs)
AG: N/A
BLG: -yilai, -Muggle, +FT, +Anaks. I personally think that yilai was a bit better than FT currently is, but it's honestly more of a sidegrade than a downgrade, trading mid for mid in my opinion. Where the real impact comes from is their HC change, Muggle has been terrorizing CN and honestly there are very few downgrades to Muggle in the coaching booth so it's definitely a W. Verdict: Upgrade
EDG: N/A
FPX: -BerLIN, -Ben1ley, +Xlele, +coconut. BerLIN's reign of terror is finally over on FPX meaning we can hopefully see some improvements from the team (and I do believe they have been looking better). Xlele and coconut both look decent albeit nothing life changing. Thank god Ben1ley is gone. Verdict: Upgrade
JDG: -stew, -coconut, +crownfisher, +BerLIN. For one of the most exciting CN teams at the start of the year, things certainly haven't been going well for the Jingdong Mall JD Gaming boys. With the last member of the RA core leaving the team, and jkuro being the only original member remaining, it can only be looked upon as a downgrade. No one likes losing stew and replacing him with mid (albeit crownfisher should be given time) is quite underwhelming. Oh yeah and BerLIN is here to terrorize the team, and I don't think bail can work his magic on this roster (sorry zhe). Verdict: Mega downgrade
NOVA: -Green, -alexRr, +24K, +cb. They won CN EVO Act 2 and carried on with a small scale overhaul, most notably bringing back their former HC and also their prodigal son in cb. Don't think any NOVA fan will be missing GREEN and they will undoubtedly welcome their former members' return after escaping EDG jail. Verdict: Upgrade
TEC: Technically N/A but they brought in Muggle as AC which is funny #EDGRetirementHome
TE: -Viva, -Abo, -Xlele, +FengF, +LuoK1ng, +FKEY. I hope you weren't expecting some objective analysis here. Because what the actual hell are you doing TE. As a former TE fan, I really didn't mind the FengF and LuoK1ng returns, and while FKEY looked okay, I don't think he was much better than Xlele. BUT THEN these guys drop the goat (Viva) and the bum (Abo) (thank god) and now these guys look like utter bums and they suck and honestly should disband please disband please disband please disband you guys haven't looked good since 2024 champs please do something also free the goat (Viva). Verdict: What the fuck holy mid team I don't even wanna call it a downgrade because they would lose to t2 teams please don't give them partnered slot this team sucks Also FengF sucks now and so does LuoK1ng although the whole team sucks so who am I to blame those two even deLb can't shoot anymore and Kai is cheeks.
TYL: -sword9, +SiuFatBB. Okay so SiuFatBB is back and sword9 can finally go back to the coach booth rest in peace. Anywho shooting upgrade and vibes mega upgrade. Hopefully everyone shoots everyday and win everything #TYL4Ever no bias. Probably the move that brings this team to Champs. Verdict: Upgrade
WOL: -SiuFatBB, -jowa, +Deryeon, +aluba. Wolves literally couldn't get worse and they beat TEC which was a bit surprising imo and Deryeon shat on them and aluba looks pretty solid with okay calling. Once again, they literally couldn't have gotten worse. Verdict: Upgrade
XLG: N/A
DRG: -Flex1n, +Verse. Verse is mid as hell, but Flex1n is also gone which means that everyone is happy. Verdict: Oh my god just ask any DRG enjoyer, holy upgrade (although Verse is ass)

DRG -Flex1n for Verse is not an upgrade lol. Verse doesn’t even IGL and he shoots worse than Flex1n. Would’ve rather flex1n off IGL and normal player if verse was our option to replace him
He’s better than Flex1n because he doesn’t single handedly throw rounds and Nicc IGL is just better than Flex1n IGL bc they’re mildly more disciplined now.

how can you make a replacement for firepower (which this obviously is) and bring in someone who shoots worse? no DRG fan is celebrating this as you claim
I never said he's a firepower upgrade. I simply made the obvious claim that he doesn't int as much. I absolutely agree that as of yet, he is a downgrade in firepower, yes. However, Flex1n just isn't good and I'll take a guy who doesn't throw my rounds over someone who might get impact kills here and there but throws half my lost rounds. In fact, I believe I said that Verse is "mid as hell", and honestly, we should give him time, he is a rookie after all.

- Muggle mostly just took over from AfteR and wasn’t anything special and had mid strats and everything, really (look at 2025 EDG)
