Eternal fire is a good pick up, they have two games in the first week and both teams are trash. Team liquid was already a dumpster fire with picking 3 intiators on to their team and with nats not playing they are just doomed and KC is KC

imo theyre all way too expensive, id have potentially grabbed echo but the only semi reasonably priced ones are audaz/nekky and neither of them are guaranteed high kills
id argue that izzy is a great value at 10 vp. Its a cheap duelist, got alot more to show and hes even cheaper than duelist like jerrwin, udotan, kamo and lewn
cause of the mickey mouse tournament? eternal fire went 4-1 in groups in stage 1 and only lost to fnatic which they should have won that game
yes, they fixed their roles
while i do think the mickey doesnt hold much value in terms of results, i think its totally fair to see how much a team improved through it
pre-ewc KC was a mess, and they've clearly fixed a lot of their shit
i think eternal fire had more time to prepare and what results even screamed out that eternal fire was bad??? 4-1 in groups and almost beat fnatic and they had to go against team fut with momentum as they were the first seed and went against heretics that had momentum aswell and they went on to win the region. Both their losses in play offs wasn't bad and they were one off from qualifying to masters
going 4-1 is not that impressive considering you have PCF, GX, a pre-playoffs vitality that was still shit and a struggling BBL
their playoffs run was pretty good but they really didnt beat any particularly difficult teams besides that opener against a low-steam TH
meanwhile KC managed to beat EF in the qualifiers and PRX in ewc, which yes, i am aware its not that valid of a result due to the nature of the tournament, but for fucks sake, its fucking PRX. its an astouding victory even if not worth much
also KC play GX, so even if they lose to EF (it will be a close match, like the one in the mickey qualifiers), they'll have a much easier time against GX than EF will have against TL
I still think they are the worst team in emea except for the obvious. They are seen as this massive glow up in the ewc, but they didn't even make it out for groups for gods sake. I do agree that they look better, but so as any other teams.
a team can improve a lot in a month or two, but in KC's case, they were actively struggling with role issues, so we never even got to see anywhere close to their full potential in groups
they are certainly going to look much, much better than last stage
They only get their best score for the week btw, if they have two games they don't get points for both
Kicks is great with smokes and scans, He filled in for Liquid when wayne had visa issues as a smokes player.
trexx is an amazing scanner, but the man showed he's insanely flexible on KOI and VIT.
Purp0 can also play duelist if he has to, and he's pretty damn good.

They have 3 scans players yeah, but two of them can do a lot more than just scans.
if team liquid had nats i wouldn't have picked up eternal fire. I would have went with double nonshim, and even then nonshim looked good but might be burnt out in the first week and have things to settle out
Nah Echos price nearly doubled this stage so it’s really not worth
