Obviously we dont know why veqaj is unwell and im not saying this applies to him, but after seeing so many fnatic players getting repeatedly sick or showing signs of being unwell ive noticed a growing culture around not taking care of your health working as an esports pro. Similar to pro athletes they get to dedicate all their time to their craft, but their craft doesnt entirely rely on their physical health or habits being very good so it seems like they just dont take care of themselves as much in pursuit of whatever. Im not saying this IS a problem with fnatic or any org, but i wouldnt doubt it if them or other teams dont give notice if their players are getting enough regular sleep, maintaining good eating habits, etc

Being one of the biggest and winningest orgs in esports in general i can imagine prioritizing their performance in the server as opposed to their personal health. Obviously with leo he got chronically sick and we dont know for sure how much of their situations couldve been preventable, but i cant help but think him or veqaj mightve been able to play more if physical health was clearly prioritized in the scene, i notice this with other pros but not as much and id hate to assume fnatic managment doesnt care about their players

The players are just chuds for the most part, they play games all day when they go home and eat out every meal. They could they just don’t

Look at Zellsis, back when he was on Sen he pracces, did a majority of the content, streamed and still stayed in pretty good shape

Yeah im not saying its not possible to be an esports pro and be healthy and calling the players chuds implies them having poor health is a moral failure
