the core of magixx-donk-sh1ro is amazing, but holy shit zont1x and tn1r just cannot be consistent for shit. tn1r goes from ''3rd star on the level of sh1ro'' to ''worthless bot'' in the space of 2 maps, and zont1x goes from ''serviceable anchor'' to ''free site'' from round to round
I mean the problem with spirit is that, according to CIS insiders, this roster is an actual on the fly change. Magixx wasn't even supposed to be back. when they signed tn1r in august 2025 from heroic, the initial plan was for him to become a secondary caller and then become an IGL when chopper would leave at the end of 2025. The other part was to see how good zweih would be, and if he was bad they would call back zont1x. Problem is that in december 2025, at the very last moment tn1r said he wasn't ready, so they called up magixx. It worked out just fine, but it's just that he kinda ruined the whole vision for the org. hence why zont1x is inconsistent AF, he had some health issues and his return was rushed because zweih wasn't what spirit needed. So, for me just personally, I respect donk as a talent, and it just hurts me that his own teammate kinda threw a spanner in the works

I mean sure, but just so unfortunate for him. Also big respect to magixx, according to these same rumours he was just streaming faceit and they just called him ''look, boris, wanna IGL for spirit?'' and he agreed and Spirit have been better and better with every tournament
i mean coming inches from making a major final without a coach + magixx playing his first major as igl is not a bad result in the slightest
the group stage results were too good so people just felt down but this was definitely a W for spirit
