They could of, but they banned ascent instead, which PRX 13-1’d LEV on
no but just dont have reps which they stated on interview that they would rather play something that they know they are good at due to reps rather than theory
Prx should ban ascent lowk even though they haven't lost on ascent this split krx were pretty close and showed how shaky their ascent can be but those two would be good bans regardless
vs LEV they banned Pearl and Haven
vs EDG they banned Pearl and Lotus
im assuming they'll just repeat their bans against whoever makes it
edg haven always been weak lets see other maps first i dont think they will ban it

Lowkey prx ascent is worse than lev but because they spanked lev, that is going to be in the back of lev mind which will make them respect prx alot on ascent. This will come as a huge advantage for prx
Nah, banning haven and pearl is the right choice. I really can't see any point in banning any other map other than mind games which is useless this late in the tournament and alecks sure learned enough lessons to not try to do any gimmicky things in agent comps and map vetos.
gimmicky is suddenly banning haven when they are now banning lotus and breeze i think is mistake for them our lotus is getting too good now
You think just because lev got better at lotus that prx shouldn't still choose lotus?
Lotus is one of prx best maps. Better to be confident in what u are good at rather than trying to target your opponent's weaknesses in a grandfinal. You need to be confident in the final in ur own maps.
If Lev wins, PRX bans Pearl and Haven.
If EDG wins, PRX bans Pearl and Lotus.
PRX is good on Fracture. I can't see them banning it just because they barely beat EDG.
prx isn't that great on fracture but they aren't terrible. Why would they ban one of their best maps in lotus in favor of leaving fracture(a map that was close against edg with double pistols). It makes no sense
you could say the same thing about breeze, why wouldn’t they ban it even though they picked it and lost it against edg with double pistol
because their breeze was clearly better than edg. Their fracture however was worse. You need to look at context
and there’s a lot of it, outside of edg they have dominantly won fracture most of the time while their breeze has been shaky both internationally and regionally
This is against an opponent they already played, not someone new. Their breeze is better than their fracture against edg.
If it was a different opponent, we can maybe start theorycrafting some other reasons.
prx have banned lotus i think twice since the lev game, and won in fracture twice since that game as well. Obviously the players aren’t nearly as confident in their lotus compared to fracture as you are
edg picked fracture as second map btw and prx banned lotus for split(their best map) in the final veto
Against VIT, my guess is that alecks banned lotus to catch VIT off guard on fracture since VIT won't prepare as much on fracture or is that good at it.
