ive only played white 2 and got then recently got the switch 2 and played ZA. i dont get the insane hate for za but it was my public transport game 2 months straight and i loved it :D

Glad you’re enjoying it buddy. Maybe it’s just not what I’m looking for in a pokemon game. I hope for them to stop trying too hard to make open world games

I liked sv but honestly I'm not a fan of the open world vibe you can't tell where you should be going and forgetting to do lower level trials and gyms kinda ruins the vibe

I haven’t finished unbound but enjoying it so far. I’ve played radical red, crystal clear, ash gray, rocket edition and I like all of these games

I respect that opinion and I can see it. Johto games have lots of flaws and wish they fixed it with HGSS, level curve is still the same and most johto mons not available until post game ruined the game. I also think being able to go back to Kanto is an overrated feature since the main map itself have a lot of flaws. Some of the reason why it’s high for me is post game and pokemon following you, the OST and of course Red battle, and I think also due to nostalgia

actually, the only thing i like in hgss is the addition of kanto stuff
like the 2nd region and red

the level curve is ass, dont understand why i cant get some team members until postgame (???)
why the fuck are johto mons in kanto
following pokemon are hella overrated

also johto as a region is pretty bad
hgss does look great though, thats about all it has going for it

i feel like swsh and sv aren't bad games, theyre just boring
all the newer pokemon titles suffer from this because gamefreak never does anything unique and everyone still buys the games out of nostalgia

ShSw is a beautiful game imo outside of the wild area. It’s unfortunate how they trying too hard to make open world game since that’s what’s popular these days. Look at Resident evil games just sticking with what they’ve always been doing and they are making amazing games every releases. If GF just stick with old formula I think they can make better games. The next mainline game wilk also be open world so my expectations are already low, but hope it will be as beautiful as SwSh

even besides the mediocre core game, releasing a mainline pokemon game with widespread performance issues is not acceptable

They really just have to stick with their old formula and just release open world games on the side. Nothing wrong with a linear game and I think it’s a good thing since they are the only one who can make these games just like how capcom is one of the only company who can make survival horror with their formula (except for fan-made pokemon games)

not that i play them anymore, but i feel bad for the kids whose first experience is bhopping around an empty map on a fucking Me Ride On

I prefer the classic pokemon gameplay battling trainers and collecting gym badges. I’m not a fan of open world. I enjoyed Arceus but I think I’m one of the people who enjoyed it less than the majority.

Pokemon Black & White! The visual and OST is amazing in this game. Plot is also the best among any mainline games imo

black and white 2 were also nice, try the sequel if u like b&w 1
