was it well known that brawk and mada were elite before joining nrg? I remember looking into mada and tbf he was clearly insane in t2 but was brawk known to be this good? or was nrg just lucky they picked up those two

Brawk was known enough to be considered good, but nowhere near the level of players like Mada or Kajaak for example. People did think Mada was a choker though, so there were doubts on his abilities. And Skuba was really well known, especially because pros would tell campfire stories about him in scrims n shit. He was in contract jail for hella long though.

brawk was with mada in moist and arguably the best 2 on the team, they made a shitty 4fun team work and be an actual threat

i'll argue mada had way more attention but brawk was still perceived to be a talented player

probably stage 2? when he became insane

I mean most people thought of brawk as a really good support player, but quite a bit of people had doubts as to whether he would be as good/talented as verno. But for the most part he was pretty well regarded and once nrg dropped verno he became one of the first names spread around as a replacement.
