I lowkey feel bad
Dudes been trying so hard but he just can’t find success anywhere and all he does is just get hate, it feels like seeing other old guards retire keeps that thought in the back of his mind that maybe he’s next and perhaps that’s affecting his performances
in a post match interview it was obvious his mental was shattered for a while now
Asuna haters are such assholes istg, he's such a likeable guy and he's not even playing badly
if you had a baby when asuna was in his prime it would be attending highschool right now
expected if you stay in a single team for SIX years and achieve 0 results while also having convincingly disappointing performances whenever he has to show up
in my opinion the next step for asuna is either a new beginning from 0 or retirement, because it's pretty clear him staying in 100T won't lead to anything for either himself or the org
he really shouldn't feel bad this time, we beat MIBR solely cause of him and Timo. And the only bad performance he had was SEN and if we had gotten 1st seed we would've gotten clapped by G2/NRG a round earlier anyway
I think he should feel proud of his performance this stage, he really wasn't the problem. It's only a shame that they couldn't beat NRG but it's so clear this team is improving, I really don't think 100T should make changes.
But people will just hate on him because they want someone to blame for 100T's lack of success so irrespective of how well he does, he will still have to bare with the hatred... kinda sad
I think this stage was generally a positive and they made a great comeback, they can absolutely make champs if they keep up the trajectory they’re in rn
though it does kinda blow seeing him like this
yeah the "casuals" have decided he is to blame, so any failure in the team will be placed at his door. it reminds me of how harry maguire was treated during united's lowest points
not his fault but he/the org def have to move on if 100t doesn't qualify to champs
I agree with you completely. Tbh just because he's been on this team for 6 years and hasn't achieved results does not mean its his fault. Being a constant on a team doesn't make you the mistake and just because he's had some bad games throughout the years being inconsistent his agent pool is good. I disagree with the fact that 100T builds around him because he is just a vital piece in building the team around a player they want to focus so he has been the sacrificial piece for years along with the fact that he never gets mad and tries to bring energy to the team no matter what.
This iteration of the roster has portential and has been showing it. During kickoffs we got 5th and now we are 4th. We have beaten 6 of the 12 teams in convincing fashion. SEN being the one one where its a 50/50 not because teams like KRU and FUR are not a 50/50 but because SEN seems to be the only team where we are don't seem to play the best until that rare occasion we do beat them. NRG and G2 are the only walls we have not even been able to beat but we do seem to be catching up to them. The Pearl loss against G2 was purely because of the vyse I believe which they weren't ready for. LEV and ENVY are the only teams we haven't faced yet.
