What is it that makes them stand out and be better than others? I mean they are all at a level where they smurf radiant and all have the same fundamentals any pro has, but a leo a leo?

Sure the biggest impact is raw aim thats why players like meiy are so good, but in the case of for example riens or mada they seem to have very "average" pro level mechanics but they just clear most people when it comes to a pro conversation. In pro play everything is very organized and structured around a team so its not that they just 1v5 the enemy team like theyre playing ranked either, so im wondering, what makes certain pros stand out so hard?

first of all I don't know what you're watching if you think Riens has average T1 mechanics
2nd of all there's this thing that's called brain and is quite important when you play a "TACTICAL" fps and not a simple shooter

riens doesnt do anything extraordinarily when it comes to mechanics, when you compare him with players like wo0t, aspas, meiy, primmie (and the list goes on) he just has decent t1 mechanics

yes obviously but what makes him more of a tactical player, because in pro play he cant just do whatever he wants he has to follow a protocol so that brings up the question is the system that he plays in just rly good or does he make most good plays "on his own" and then what does he do good like take specific timings or util usage etc

Being more flashy doesn't mean you're more mechanically gifted or better

The less movements you need to do as you swing or hold an angle shows more about someone skill than having high sens and throwing your mouse around the screen.

the game is all about gun fights. so, raw aim can be great, but abilities can also be used to gain advantages in gun fights. even small things like micro movement and timing are crucial for advantages in fights. there are players that excel at aiming, and those that excel at other factors that give them a big edge in fights

just generally playing different from others make you stand out, and the majority of the time, it’s what gets you wins

playing “normally” doesn’t earn you accolades nor will it earn you many fans, you gotta find a way to make your specific playstyle be associated with you and you alone
