does anybody else try to main the phantom and finds it harder to use compared to the vandal? i've tried to use it like an smg (not be afraid to spray) and sometimes like a vandal, or sometimes in between. but theres just something about it that feels off compared to the vandal.
maybe its just all in my head?
it is much easier to headshot with compared to the vandal for me imo
like i find it easier to get the double headshot rather than go for the single headtap on the vandal idk why
+1, double headshots on phantom feel easier for me as well, gun feels lighter and easier to control
The phantom is better the lower ping you are on and since VCT is all on LAN and they basically have 0 ping its tends to look much better than what you would get while on your home gaming setup.
phantom on anything above 50 ping feels genuinely awful
100+ is borderline unplayable
vandal feels usable no matter the ping so I tend to stick with it
but when I used to get a stable 9 ping I mained phantom
yea idk maybe 20 ping isn't good enough for me to get that more consistent feeling
bad isp is real, i used to live withing uber distance of the mum servers and still got 120ping (70 to sg) for quite a time before getting a better isp

dude I used to get 4ms from a random old cable dude before big billion corps came along and it shot it all the way to 100 and its been better recently
I don't think it's worth it to main any gun. I alternate between phantom, vandal, guardian, and outlaw depending on the situation. Phantom for close-range and defensive chokepoint holds
It feels so much harder to use but if I'm practising aim I'd rather use the phantom than the vandal tbh

i am goated with both vandal and phantom so i switch depending on what i plan to do in the round. LOL who am i kidding i just hs them anway.... i so good.
It could be just in my head but reckon phantom made me fall in love with phantom because its feeling is wayy too good.
