Are they kinda low?The games been hosting events for 5 years and the highest earned player(Ethan) has $540k and second place $400k now 100k a year + salary isn’t anything to complain about but compared to other big esports I feel like it’s kind of low eg. 540= 80th in CS 60th in Fortnite and 35th in League these esports have obviously been around way longer and Val prizepools only increased after 2023 but idk it feels low after 5 years

well all these games have been going on for longer OR have the luxury of having more tournaments

the players have their own salaries (usually at or above a minimum wage job), prize money is split up among the team's coaches and players, capsule sales, champs bundle sales.

players get most of their money from orgs + skins i'd imagine, and the orgs don't need as much prizing due to the partner program i'd guess. that and riot are cheap

The thing with a lot of the other games that have much higher prize is that often they have a lot of gambling sponsors and are much more established. Also with valorant you have to take a look at the hidden profits that come with partnership, bundle sales, being promoted by riot etc.
