Riot Getting Sued (Phillip Koskinas) For Millions

Confirmed by Trainwreckstv's close circle, Riot will be getting sued and potentially for MILLIONS of dollars in damages. This is not bait.

A Riot employee and head of their Anti Cheat Department, Phillip Koskinas, had an argument with trainwreckstv's defenders (actual randoms) on Twitter regarding his ban. In the process of doing so, Koskinas leaked trainwrecktv's IP through a now deleted screenshot forcing trainwreckstv to shut down his streams and operations for at least a few days.

Why millions of dollars? Trainwreckstv makes MULTI MILLIONS every day streaming (there are receipts and proof of this). The damages caused is in the estimated ballpark of 8 figures.

He's the head of the Anti Cheat Department so he naturally has access to sensitive information. To prove a point towards a random who was defending trainwreckstv, included in the screenshots, was sensitive information that wasn't redacted.

He has to change internet providers, get a new router, and a bunch of other things which is at least a few days. To reiterate, each of his streams generates him millions of dollars. Missing a few days is massive.

Also his ban is not what he is potentially suing for. It is the leak.

I don’t think getting a different IP address requires changing internet providers, routers, or anything that complex. My internet provider changes my IP address every few months for no apparent reason and I don’t have to do anything for it. (I only notice because Hulu + Live TV thinks I’m not at home and I have to update the account with the new IP.)

... you can just request for a new static ip or just restart his router or just ask for a dynamic ip. what happened was bad but not so bad that it warrants such drastic actions.

The situation was explained by sinatraa, one of a few in train's circles. It seems like he does not upload his VOD immediately so unfortunately I am unable to show his perspective.

As for the doxxing issue from Koskinas, it is a now deleted tweet, but the screenshots are apparently saved by train's team. I personally was not able to save them in time, but it blatantly contained sensitive information that obviously should not have even surfaced over a Twitter battle.

Train was live prior to the leak. When it happened and he found out, he immediately ended stream. These events happened within minutes of each other.
