Why are the upcoming air speed nerfs this exaggerated for Neon? Now I know there will also be shotgun nerfs which is basically the playstyle mostly associated with her, but can't you still do your usual sliding and stunning shenanigans with Neon after the nerfs? Wouldn't that still make her extremely viable and not dead like Yoru?

I mean ideally in a world of good game balance nerfs should not completely neuter an agent
Well I just think this isn't as detrimental as the Yoru nerfs. Her main kit is basically still intact, she can still do weird shit while sliding with other guns, just a bit less with shotguns now.
I seriously don't think the Neon meta will die after the nerfs
I really enjoy doing bunny hops thats why it makes me sad. I really don't care about shotguns that much because i don't like to play with them but jump nerf is a big for me.
a big part of her strength right now is that you can run in at any time even if you have no utility and it makes it very easy for your teammates to trade you and a lot of the time you'll also get to live. after the nerf I think you're pretty much guaranteed to die if you don't insta dash the moment you see someone
senti buffs, neon after nerfs is solid but only way she'll continue to dominate the meta is if her counters stay shit
now the really annoying part about neon(jumping around and being pretty much unkillabe throwing all crosshairs off) is gone, so at the very least it will be more fun to watch
It nerfed her in pro play heavily but doesn’t impact ranked too much
The shotgun nerf is what will have the biggest impact on ranked
