He gives high scores to like super niche albums that make him look like he knows what he's talking about...
Also his review are heavy biased take alone at prom for example he wrote the entire album off just cause tory got arrested
i mean he gave Brat a 10/10 which i did not agree with at all. like someone else above said, he tends to give albums that are more-niche higher rating to make himself look “tapped in” also the minute an artist is caught up in even the slightest controversy proven or not proven to be true he just shits on their music completely.

"Giving 'niche' albums higher rating" - this statement is just stupid because those albums are actually good (my own opinion) + its also his own opinion which is what his job is, to give opinions on music
"Turns on an artist after controversy" - this guy is still excited for jpegmafia's new album even with his questionable connections recently, also maybe their music just really got worse + once again its still also his opinion

i get it’s his opinion which is why i never have a problem with what his ratings are, those are HIS ratings, i didn’t agree on his 10/10 for Brat because truly in my opinion that album is a low 6 at best. he definitely does cater towards the more “niche-style” music when giving higher ratings you can’t deny that, and that’s fine it’s HIS music taste, 2 things can be true though.
i also don’t dislike fantano i think he has really great music knowledge and gives a lot of albums a really good listen and shares some great thoughts, but a lot of people give him a lot more grace than he’s deserved, that’s all im saying and let the record state, that’s MY opinion.

music discourse is actually hell because people's tastes in music are subjective but some people just cant grasp that concept
1000% bro. music literally is subjective, what you might love i might hate type shit. but i do believe music discourse is needed and can be healthy so as long as we take it all as opinion and not fact, but never be so close minded you can’t learn something about the discourse. i’ve found so much music that i probably wouldn’t have listened to if i didn’t explore and listen to other people’s opinions.
why do people watch this guy's channel just to get mad about his opinions you clicked on the "i share my opinions about music" guy
