i was immortal and getting last act radiants in most my games now im diamond-ascendant i need lhjpe
also come back and hit DM and TDMs like 3 of em before going to the games if u still feel buns comeback later
one man's good luck is another's bad luck, i think i gained +117rr today to go from s2 to g1 today by stealing all your luck gl twin (lowkirk my highest peak since Beta which was plat1 thru placement)
STAY STRONG
it depends what you are doing wrong, when im aiming/mechanically bad i find that if i stop playing for a week or two i lose the “bad muscle memory” of the bad habits and instead consciously perform the habits ive seen pros use
not muscle memory, 100% a mental thing, my mech is still sharp but i just can't make decisions or have patience at all anymore
touch grass , go out more , talk to actual living human beings, aimtrain , watch ur vods back
do you play like entry duelist or mainly like "ranked" duelist where you're going for kills more? entry duelist especially is super inconsistent performance wise
I do entry, i do like to IGL a lot in ranked which I haven't been doing recently..
Not micromanaging perse but i do like to call general ideas, and what util i want for myself and excecs, i haven't been doing this a lot recently because of confidence issues and tbh that's resulted in a lot more losses
that's good but try and IGL again, not only for your team but also helps your gameplay when you're calling and keeps you focused. if you're entry duelist especially, you constantly need to ask for what util you want even tho it can be hard. try not to focus on bad games - like i said, playing entry is very dependent on your entry success so some games will be crazy, some games very bad.
yes. i do need to be more vocal..
I have adhd and honestly keeping a constant flow of speaking and calling shit helps me stay in the game mentally, it's really really good
if you want as well you could vod review your games - it's way easier now with replays. don't just focus on negatives, also look at rounds you did play good in and see what you did well to keep your confidence up. if you got to immortal before you can definitely do it again and from what ive read i think its just a mindset/confidence issue. keep your comms up, ignore any toxic teammates, and just focus on your game and improving. if you want posting the tracker could help but to be honest its not a very good indicator of your weaknesses so entirely up to you
Thanks! I really appreciate that :3!! Yeah.. I started recording going over my losses, vod reviewing em with my gf definitely helps
Atleast im not coping tbh, I Know its a complete me issue, i feel like im pretty good when it comes to improvement and ill be happy to learn when i come back from a break
yeah a break is definitely good, im guessing youre a vct fan cause you're on vlr so maybe stop playing valorant but watch some vct cause they make it look way more fun than it actually is to play, and then you'll come back with passion to play and hopefully a new mindset!
you are still better than like 90% of valorant players, you are doing fine. Just a bad act, come back in a couple of weeks and you’ll be better
ive been hardstuck ascendant 1 for a while and wanted to get to immortal, so i checked out https://www.poppinsguide.com/. i paid the 350 dollars and joined. now, im gold 2. he told me he wouldnt refund me because i wouldnt take the advice of "finding a 17 year old to carry you". whats going to happen to my 350 dollars? how do I report this scammer?
honestly i'm currently down like 250-300 rr or something. From immortal 2 to currently low asc or so. I feel your pain. For the past month I haven't played and genuinely life has been going great actually
Just take a Stardew Valley chill break for 1 week.
If you're not a cozy game player, just do something that gives you back the feeling that you're not playing with your life on the line.
Then once you're refreshed, try getting back.
