Yeah the meta has actually been diverse on some maps like Pearl and Haven
The reason you still see China using waylay is because they were playing on the old patch during the group stage, in playoffs you should see them switch to more neon centric comps since they are moving to the current patch.
meta had almost always has been diverse in every region. it's when the major starts, the amalgamation begins.
