i thought they need to just win a map vs FUT and not NAVI 2-0. if they win vs FUT even 2-1 they def make it, 3-2 record
its a bit confusing. is it cuz navi beat TH so if they both end 3-2 than NAVI takes the cake?

the score would only matter if they had lost today and lose the next game (2 more losses) but they won today so scores dont matter at all
It does for TH (assume TH lose and NAVI win their matches):
If TL beat M8 then there's a 3 way tie with TH, NAVI and M8 all 2-3 match record. H2H gives TH > M8, M8 > NAVI and NAVI > TH. The next tiebreaker after H2H match record is H2H map differential. If you look at the H2H map differential then:
TH are 3-2
M8 are 2-2
KC are 2-3
so TH qualify as #3 and M8 qualify as #4 seed.
(Btw this is the exact same reason that led to AG being #1 seed in CN group alpha)
didn't they say that FUT winning yesterday meant that M8 is qualified to playoffs
if M8 lose they'll be 4th seed if they win they'll just be 3rd seed no?
i might be tripping but i thought i heard the cast say it yesterday
#4 seed still qualifies to playoffs, they just start in the lower bracket. M8 were qualified to playoffs when TL beat NAVI, but the seeding wasn't guaranteed.
As of right now, the only team with a locked seed in group alpha is FUT as #1.
TL and M8 can be anywhere from 2nd to 4th.
TH can be anywhere from 2nd-5th
NAVI can be anywhere from 4th-6th.
