yeah, you heard it correctly 😁 alexy is their current igl.
And i think alexy was also the igl for the xipto 2024 core but for split 2 (tara igl during split 1) and i'm not entirely sure who's their igl during gcc that time.
Some of their info isn't yet updated here in vlr. They also have 2 new coaches.

yeah, tysm for this!!! about their new coaches i know, but thanks for remiding me about times that alexy being igl (i remembered it, yeah)
but also i'm a little bit worried about alexy's igling. she's insane player, and madv also an insane igl, but we'll see how good alexy on being igl during the whole '26 season (i like to do some parallels - alexy is their intiator and new igl, and also daiki igl for tl brazil. they playing on the same role, and that fact for me is insane, cause they both one of my fav players)
i guess tara was igl in gcc '24, but someone who knows can correct me

according from what i saw on the post-match interviews, madv was happy to not be igl so she can focus more on fragging out and flexing, she admitted she didn't like being stuck in one role, primarily initiator, when she was igl.

they're all insane players and i'm really rooting for them to qual for gcc! i think madv has more comfortability flexing and is mechanically insane, so it makes sense to put her on a role where she can fit what the team needs. Alexy is also an amazing IGL, she took over the role for Xipto during Split 2 and at GCC, so Tara could focus on her aim and the game.

GCC pacific is going to be insane with the 3 favoured contenders being GEN-G GC (ex-Ninetails), Falcons Vega, and Fennel.
