How does one become a pro player when you're only limited to a couple of hours of gaming? I read somewhere that it's common practice for teenagers buy adults 'game time quota' to play more. Is this true or not?.

would it be crazy to say that getting into top esports would be easier than cracking the gaokao
no it would not be easier than cracking the gaokao. You guys really underestimating how hard being a pro is when there are so few slots.
That’s one thing, but most minors can find ways to get around the anti-addiction system.
So are the pros buying game time qouta to practice or are there any exemption from the law?
I don't get how this works. So they track your timer through the account, if so then have alt accounts. Or are they tracking through the PC, if so then play on different PCs.
The specific anti-addiction measures involve monitoring the playtime of your account. If your account is registered under a minor, you are only allowed to play for one hour per day on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. That’s why most youth training players usually play on the Hong Kong server instead.
Where there is a policy, there are countermeasures.
It did restrict much but aint doing wrong to the talented ones
How much is the Esports effected by it? The talent pool seems so weak and dying in lot of pc esports for China from my experience. Is it cause of this rule or something else as well?
The 18 age ban has had a huge impact, as it means anyone under 18 cannot participate in any competitions. It has greatly affected both mobile and PC esports. Many talented players were unable to compete because of this rule.
