Imo Bonkar wants to re-invent the wheel, he thinks his read of the meta is better and that NRG doesnt need to play double duelist to win. Its the same shit Saadhak did in 2024 insisting in his Phoenix Breach and not playing Gekko
Based on what we’ve seen, KRU are currently in a similar ish boat to NRG
They’re not playin double duelist and are just opting for double controller sentinel comps, which is similar to what NRG ran a couple of times

I think they only picked raze on split because of the util combos with deadlock
nrg Hate fade and tbh, especially on split, fade is proving to be the best at setting up neon
they really wanna lean into the skye cuz she got the buff but to be honest, she’s still really not all that
Like i said on another comment i think Bonkar just overcooked a counter for a counter. Thought teams would use Vyse to try to stop Neon (which is true) and tried to go full circle to counter that a build a meta for the meta
