:(
imo strongest agent in history and he is actually gone
Strongest agent in history
Neon dominates then
all of 2024
a little in champs 2025 and toronto (mainly t3xture)
and now in 2026
neon was good for half of stage 2 and champs in 2024 what on earth are you talking about
Strongest in history is a big stretch but also he's not even that bad he can still do a lot of what he could before u just have to think a little instead of being blessed with every possible role in the game
They killed the 1000s of hours ppl spent on yoru tp lineups (time cut in half) though
for some reason, rito is not rewarding players who spend the time mastering an agent and keep making things simpler...
Idk I can't say yoru truly took that much mastery most of the lineups at least in my experience either do nothing or don't need to be learnt
I feel like if anything the nerf makes him harder to play but not really in a good way since if an agent is only hard because they're bad that doesn't really make them difficult
There were a lot of things you could master before the nerfs. Lineups for rotation on defense that allow you to have more play time before having to decide if you want to commit to the tp or not. Flash + Tp lineups on every map you play him on for attack. Releasing weapons strat to make your fake clone more realistic. Flashing techniques. etc
Now the tp isnt very useful, and you only have 1 flash (the 2 most skill-based parts of his kit got nerfed)
i thought hed still get picked regularly but seems like teams disagree with me
yeah -15 seconds is very significant but i consider the original yoru tp to be maybe strongest ability in games history and still strong even with -15
u dont play yoru if u think it is still strong lmao wtf am i reading
Sounds like a skill issue
15s is still plenty of time to make a play and reposition. It's just not enough to rotate across the map after waiting around for half a minute
https://tracker.gg/valorant/insights/agents (4th lowest winrate with low pick percentage)
Sounds like a "I'm speaking out of my ass" issue
I dont play yoru, but the low number of people that pick the agent is mostly made up of more knowledgeable yoru players and the agent still has such poor winrate. The tp nerf has made the agent pretty much useless (there are just better options).
Ranked winrate means nothing. He had below 50% winrate even at his peak. You don't think Omen is a bottom 3 agent do you?
He had below 50% winrate even at his peak.
This is what I was trying to say before. Yoru requires mastery.
When many random casuals started the playing the agent, the agent had a low winrate cuz they hadnt mastered him (different from an agent like clove, who is a picked a lot AND has a high winrate).
It's still a bad metric for that.
The amount of mastery that goes into ranked winrate is pretty much just "can this player filling the agent on a whim use their utility?" It's a matter of floor, not ceiling.
Sova, Fade, and Raze have high ranked winrates, even though I'm sure you agree they have depth of mastery. And then Waylay has a poor winrate despite apparently being simple to play and broken.
The fact that Yoru has a higher floor to play competently has no bearing on the fact that he was overpowered when played well.
he was my best agent when i ranked up to immo3
ofc i am still a noob on yoru in grand scheme of things but i love yoru
deserved for killing flash init(2 flashes and drone ult) and sentinel(clone killing traps, omni-present 30sec 2 tps, along with viper)
Now he's still good on attack, worse on defend
