SkRossi bottom fragged in high immortal - radiant SG lobbies. Couldn't even top frag in India (https://www.vlr.gg/297035/revenant-esports-vs-reckoning-esports-challengers-league-2024-south-asia-split-1-w1/?game=all&tab=overview). He was never actually a top-tier player. He was a highlight player in a weak region who got overrated because there was nothing better to compare him to. Most of his reputation comes from flashy clips and farming against low level teams.
The moment he faced stronger international teams, the gap was obvious. His stats dropped and his decision making got exposed. SkRossi has always been inconsistent too, that is if you can call having ONE good game and 10 terrible ones inconsistency. More like he's just bad. Taking wide swings and hitting clips works domestically. Against structured teams, it makes you an actual bot, made to be farmed, and that's exactly what he was. He also never built a real winning career. No meaningful international results, no deep runs, no period where he was carrying a team against top competition. If a player is truly good, you see it translate at some point.
Another issue is playstyle. It stayed one-dimensional. Heavy reliance on aim, very little evolution in terms of positioning, utility usage, or adapting to how the game changed. Always know for his mediocre Operator gameplay. He's not even the best Indian player. He wasn’t underrated or unlucky. He was always just a bum. And some people wanted to compare him to KK lmao...
