i never noticed before but the rr threshold for radiant is 100 less in NA than eu, and rn there are only 241 Radiants in NA. in EU there are 450 with the higher threshold. but why isnt EMEA dominating VCT, we are clearly the more gifted and talented players.

What do you mean, are they raising the threshold in NA or lowering it or something?
I don’t know exactly what they’re changing, but at the very bottom of the 12.05 patch notes, it says “We're adjusting the Ranked Rating thresholds to hit Immortal 2, 3 and Radiant to bring parity to leaderboard requirements across all of our regions.” I’m not sure if this means they’re making all regions the same or just adjusting various regions up and down.

Yep. According to this support article (https://support-valorant.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/4405964120339-Rank-Rating-RR-for-Immortal-and-Radiant-Ranks), the radiant threshold is 200RR in LatAm and Korea, 340RR in Brazil, 400RR in APAC, 450RR in NA, and 550RR in Europe. Of course, the article was last updated in August 2023, so I don’t know if that has all been the same until the new changes with this patch.

stream sniping, win trading, throwing for bets, etc. I know this is a problem in every region but in NA it happens WAY more often so a lot of the pros don't even bother with ranked
Idk about NA ranked but I server hopped to play with my partner from Canada and everyone has freaky ahh names like "EatMyKitty" and "degrade me" like vro
the thresholds vary between different regions because different regions have different playerbase numbers
