it just baffles me that on here everyday theres like gold and plat players suggesting team comps, team vetos, and what they should do blah blah blah as if paid coaches who do this for their living doesnt know better. not to mention you guys have no idea what goes on at practice etc. like if u really knew everything that you wouldve already been in vct and not typing on vlr

i am not against having opinions, i just think its pointless to have a discussion on something when everyone participating in the discussion has absolutely no idea what theyre talking about, this is an esport forum after all but i feel theres just no point suggesting which maps and which agents for a team to pick.

Counter Point: A lot of coaches are probably stubborn. The average VLR user doesn't know more than basically any VCT coaches because we obviously can't see what happens in scrims and teams aren't going to tell the public about why they do certain things but a lot of us can you know see what happens in matches. For example, G2 keeps picking into fucking Corrode with their mid comp which only works in bumMericas and so we begin to question why? Are we missing information, yea no shit, but like we should be able to criticize teams for making decisions that are not effective especially if they continue to do it.
i mean when a team picks a map theres always reasoning behind why they make every decision you know
theyre obviously confident going into the map, we as vlr users dont know what they know.
could they have prepared a lot of things that maybe they didnt get to show? we dont know
the reasoning behind why they choose their comp and why they thought it was best? we dont know
could you be correct and is their comp just bad? maybe, but i feel we arent in a position to judge when we have no idea whats going on.

i mean 1 OCE team can still qualify, which probably (90% chance) will be bluegate#toro4 (swerl and ikana on a team is illegal)
but kinda fucked for everyone else. All comes down in 2027 to see if they choose to save OCE or not
I honestly don't know too much about our regions top players but they look insane.
