furia could, they had an alright showing despite losing 2-10 pistols. they’ll only get better
m8 idt so, i really believed in them to go far at the event because their map pool looked so promising and yet they somehow disappointed me
1trophy was before G2 even made into franchising, and the other was in their first year there (g2 won both matches against sentinels in that year)

I won't even lie. FURIA got in pretty closely. If they had lost to MIBR, I think they would have endured the 0-3 fate that MIBR had which would have destroyed their morale. M8s can definitely make it to another international, but they need to level up their gameplay since Marteen can't be the only one popping off. I like both rosters as they have shown some versatility, but they need to refine themselves a lot more.
M8s can do it again, right now It's mostly Marteen with starxo's leadership but you have to admit, having 3 of your players being on stage for the first time, the last time your IGL was on an international stage was 2021 champs which was 5 years ago, and marteen who's relatively new to it make the first international of the year on the roster's debut AND MAKE TOP 8 tells me that they can be great.
dont think m8 is bad dont get me wrong,
but i feel like an in form FNATIC and Vitality will beat them then you have Liquid, BBL, possibly Heretics, etc
imo i just dont see them qualifying to another event this year with their current lineup; again i could be wrong
for FURIA i think the same
i think an in form MIBR, NRG, G2 are already enough threats and the whole region is just insanely competitive rn
I think they already have what it takes to be up there with an In form FNC and VIT, They just need confidence. They played so scared in that match VS AG and just looked defeated toward the end in the game vs NS.
I genuinely think the only reason they lost those games was the pressure getting to them, Idk how I feel about Bipo but I say let everyone get back in form, let it ride for a few more months and then make changes if that doesn't work. It's too early to count the 5 out just yet. I do see where you're coming from tho
FURIA should be one of the favs in their group, the only threats are realistically NRG and 100T
They can scoop up enough champs points to qualify for shanghai should they miss out on london.
