the fact they made it this far without catering to the meta is a sign of how good of a team they are
why are they expected to win santiago? the fact they are in consideration to win is what makes them a great team.
The champs curse wasn't really because of the teams suddenly getting worse, it was because they all lost core pieces of their champs winning rosters.

Acend just sucked to begin with, that tourney was a fluke.
EG lost everybody but jawg who eventually also left. Each of the players that left also stayed in form for quite a while. Boostio did okay on 100T for a while, Ethan is looking great on NRG, Demon1 was fine on NRG but eventually got dropped, c0m looked good on lev, and jawg is now with G2 in santiago.
EDG kicked S1mon, the only actually good player in Apac lite.
NRG lost s0m yeah, but they lowkey got an Upgrade with keiko and they're still in pretty good shape. Especially considering they aren't even playing the double duelist meta. I bet they'll look amazing after the inevitable waylay/yoru nerfs. They haven't broke the curse yet but they're goddamn close. If they get top 4-3 I'm keeping my hopes high.

Yeah, you are right, for now atleast. Whether they can mold reduxx into a star player is unknown but he definitely has potentials.
I don't think he would be in contract jail necessarily? I think he signs a 1 Year contract and wait for some more of the cracked tier two players to be eligible to play.
Although I don't think these examples would sign with SEN, but Ion and Canezerra are good examples.
Actually im gonna contradict myself. I forgot that VCT is changing in 2027.
I think once we see the changes and how they affect the game, then I think he's gonna resign his contract, or become like an ambassador or something
