What would be the sponsor conflict which could prevent this approval? Does anyone have any idea?
This has to be problem between TenZ's sponsors and Riot's sponsors. Nothing to do with SEN
I have narrowed it down to Wooting. I know many pro players use Wooting themselves but being sponsored is causing some irks for Riot it seems

I mean but the sponsorships are still a huge deal for them. They gotta weigh their options and contemplate whether TenZ can compensate their sponsorship loss
I think it’s just contract updates for sponsors and how specific sponsors have to be approved by riot. Feel like there’s more conflict b/w Sen (Razer) and TenZ(Pulsar) imo. Since those are mouses and there is prob contractual obligation/update the org has to do.
that’s probably not an issue, i don’t think they’re contractually required to use the mouse

like pulsar is already sponsoring vct americas and pacific im pretty sure

wooting probably? maybe its more of a tenz's sponsor issue since wasn't that the reason he left sen as a content creator since there were sponsors that conflicted with the sentinels' company sponsors
It’s more in terms of TenZ vs Sentinels and riot is the mediator. Since they have to look at sponsorships I’m assuming those two contract b/w sponsor clashes since they both have their own mouse sponsor. Riot also doesn’t wanna sour any sponsorship mouths since those could be potential sponsor for valorants event itself. So it’s is a big issue why they taking a long time. So essentially either Sentinels or Tenz has to update their contract obligation to their sponsors. Also one of these sponsors has to fold and not throw some sort of tantrum.
I think its monitors. Riot uses Hyperx monitors and Tenz is sponsored by Zowie.
Tenz has previously said that he cannot do sponsored steams for other games, yesterday he had a sponsored stream to play Marathon, he probably got paid more for that stream than a couple months salary, he also probably has future sponsored steams where he has signed contracts already
Honestly this is pretty reasonable too. I remember riot was pretty strict on this. Idk who stream it was but a pro mentioned something about not being able to stream cs during vct or smth. I could be wrong but heard this somewhere.
Seems as though I wasn't far off! TenZ agent pretty much confirms my thoughts, but for whatever reason seems to have put it back on Tenz a bit, as in it's his decision, either play VCT or continue to take sponsored streams for other games.
Sentinels signed a major partnership with Razer in June 2024. During his time as a full-time creator, TenZ signed massive personal deals with Pulsar and Wooting. If TenZ joins the team, he's repping Razer's rivals under an org sponsored by razer, which might not be a good look.
his agent clarified that theres no issues with his current sponsorships, its about future sponsorships
Yes, his agent has literally just said none of his current peripheral sponsorships are the problem, apart from the streaming of other games, people need to stop with the wooting or pulsar shit, lots of players have their own deals with peripheral companies
i mean yeah it wouldn’t make sense if it was peripherals because whole teams are also sponsored by peripheral orgs
