Not seeing FNC, MIBR and RRQ for this is so sad, Riot has to find a solution maybe just mix CN with Apac, I know there is the viewership of China but to best honest its way less than the other 3 regions, just give the 3 spots to them. Just imagine the 3 teams I mentioned before would be here in Masters, how entertaining it would be, we literally won't have "filler games"

You completely underestimate Valorant Chinese viewership on Bilibili and Huya, it is way way way more than the 3 regions combined
viewership aside, all three qualifying China teams have gone a collective 0-11 on maps so far. Safe to say FNC, MIBR, or RRQ would not have gone out completely mapless.
i doubt that it is less regardless CN won't improve unless they go to internationals
internationals will do absolutely nothing for getting CN to improve. Only 3 teams get to go each event and they're getting demolished. You can't improve if the only meaningful practice you get is every 4 months and not even for everyone. They need to scrim more with the other regions all year round otherwise it will take far too long, the Overwatch approach actually worked
idk the best non KR team played in owcs and had 1 Owl player if i remember correctly
and the teams in CN are actually good mechs wise so the only practice they need is general game knowledge going to 3 internationals is Enough to get your knowledge up and see what does and doesnt work internationally worked for apac quite well
Overwatch approach is better but is too high of a investment but if riot is willing to fork it up its defo worth it
China has more viewership than all three of the regions individually respectively and honestly probably isn't that that far away from the three combined at this point.

If twitch use heat popularity as a measure FNS alone going to have 20m heat, the VCT main channel in huya rn only have 1,6M. If you don't believe me just use chatgpt to measure it.
20k-25k views is around 15-20M heat if they aren't viewbotting and their chat is active
