Its a little thing but they made the draw format in a way that creates the tough bracket and easy bracket by nature.
Let me explain:
So if you look at the bracket they put 1st drawn and 2nd drawn team into one bracket. So that automatically means 3rd and 4th picked teams are in the same bracket as well. As you can see, usually 3rd and 4th picked teams are little stronger than 1st and 2nd picked teams so they automatically will have harder beacket. Bracket shouldve been 1st matchup vs 4th matchup in one side and 2nd 3rd matchup in other.
This time it worked out that pretty much all the Swiss teams are similar in strength but still NRG and PRX side of the bracket is really stacked compared to other side. If they keep this format for Masters London we might have even more lopsided brackets.
Draw is incorrect
i see what u mean and its a very good point, but riot is just doing what they've always done so i wouldnt necessarily its 'incorrect'.
might be a mistake ngl. cuz back in toronto, it was:
- 1st pick goes to 1st bracket
- 2nd pick goes to 3rd bracket
- 3rd pick goes to 2nd bracket
- 4th pick to 4th bracket
wait you're right... i remember before they put the 2nd picked team into the bottom bracket, i can smell "redraw" again
on god. it would be so funny ngl. but it doesn't need a redraw honestly. just put them in right order.
i dont know the written rules for draw, i mean if there is a written rule about this and they still keeping the stance of "going by rules" like before... its possible

The craziest part about this is they used my suggested version of the draw in Masters Tokyo but they did it incorrextly this time around

yea I'm saying the guy that was assisting place the stickers said that the schedule is not final. I think he was referring to bracket placement potentially
bracket was NEVER changed seen from tournament before, it's only the schedule. we potentially see leo faria prolly gonna tweet "a little mistake" and put the right order

if its not in the rulebook they wont bother changing it even if its wrong, they dont want that shit again
They might redo it you never know. Tournament outcome would be so different if they switch the matches.
Harder brackets are tough not only because you might lose but also games will be very close and long so you might have to expose a lot of yout setups and setplays.
1st matchups will stay the same so maybe they might just switch the brackets
