davai is the only muslim i think but its not a necessity to fast while travelling

im pretty sure muslim people who travel to other countries during ramadan doesnt need to fast, idk tho
if fasting while traveling is hard for you then you are allowed to break fast ,if not u can fast
muslim people can choose not to fast also. do you think all muslims pray 5 times a day? no. do all muslims fast? no.
Yeah it is there is nothing like you can choose not to fast if u are muslim unless u are sick or smth
he didnt mean it like that, yes its obligatory. his point is that just like the 5 prayers are mandatory but not everyone always prays them, you can also not fast which is still wrong but its not like you're forced against your will to fast
it's a required thing thing yes - but you can also choose not to do it. fasting is a must, just like praying 5 times a day is. not all muslims pray 5 times a day, and not all muslims fast. this doesn't make you a non-muslim automatically.

everyone else already answered davai but yeah, also just to add on when you are travelling you can choose not to fast if its taxing but then you have to make up the days you missed after ramadan (at your convenience ofc not directly after it ends), and also you only have to pray 2 rakat per prayer as a small accomodation. davai is playing insane for someone fasting mashallah
