Major Macro understanding aside why is their basic stuff like discipline and fundamentals so bad? It can't be excused by the late game release thing. It's unacceptable at this level. Even some ranked teams will be better at those things.
Also how much are the coaches involved in working on such things? One of the biggest strength of edg was their team fighting and coordination. But it looks worse and worse somehow.

Bruh this meta is better for them rather lol. Macro has less impact than micro in this meta. This meta is so good for china but you won't win games when your basic fundamentals are shit. Also this meta favors proactive playstyle a lot and cn teams especially edg used to be so good at that but now I don't understand why they play so passive.
i agree, this meta lets teams play much less formulaic and instead scrappier which would benefit cn teams
no its not, this meta SEEMS good for CN but its not. CN teems thrive when they can create chaos in passive meta's not aggressive versus aggressive.

Cn aggressive playstyle would work tho in this meta even against aggressive teams. They just don't play the same playstyle anymore. I am talking mainly about their defense. They used to be very proactive as the indian guy said. But currently they play more passive. They don't try making clears or pushes at all and their util usage understanding is so poor too. But yeah you are right about them being ass at your macro.
they are always looking confused, and in most of the cases it feels like all the players are trying to make a solo play, kinda reminding me of prx after jingg returned( late 2024- early 2025)

yeah, but my main takeaway was edg played a bit better than their cn standards but on the contrary mates played worse than what we saw from them
edg for ther lives, couldn't convert 5v3s, constantly threw away leads
