Tbh if the viewership stays the same expect JP to rise as a region maybe in 2 years they can compete
zeta has some ex-northeption guys and are looking like strong contenders for a master spot and they don't even have a single import
hot take (not really) but they’re going to become the only region that NA can beat
also most fps esports viewers from EU are still watching CSGO so give it some time. japan has more viewership rn so for a developing esports its more valuable to get more fans than have better competitive integrity. RITO knows what theyre doing.
just chill, zeta is best in jp rn...and they are gonna play better than previous global tourneys for sure
IGZ , DNGW CR AND ZETA are top teams rn....but still DNGW and IGZ can improve a lot.

ZETA looks like the strongest team rn. Pure JP team, and picked up the stronger pieces from other teams.
CR is still closely behind, with Sengoku, SCARZ and IGZIST thereafter.
I heard some results from scrims, BB winning most of them against top japan teams very dominante
Insomnia brought CR to 3rd map, so idk if CR will be as strong with the roster change. We'll have to wait and see until they face off against a better JP team.
You make it sound like having a free win team for other region is bad. It’s not like we have 2 slots either. Japanaese teams lose games but they also occasionally play close games (GMB vs CR, Zeta vs Kru).
They are definitely the weakest region that has automatic qualification I’ll give you that.
