i live in the us and im gonna go out on a limb and say that china is better than the us

Partner from China, firmly no. Less personal freedom, no information privacy, women are treated far worse, less opportunity, more food poisoning

I'm not from China, but I would say hong kong and macau probably are better, but mainland China I wouldn't necessarily call better or worse, like China definitely does some things better but there are also a lot of things they do worse.

As someone who’s been in both to an extent I’d say this :

Both countries have good and bad part.

Both are superpowers today so there will be a lot of propaganda that pushes unnecessary hate yet also undeserved praised.

Remember that in the end of the day, China is an autocratic state that has been confirmed to allow illegal labor factories and harvest organs, and on the other hand the U.S is a pedo run state with a lot of corruption decaying the nation towards an autocratic yet also divided society. (It’s also built upon a systemic system of racism)

However, both nations have beautiful nature, culture (yes even America for you European haters), and the nation’s actions should not be equated to the people that live there 100% to a tee.
Nothing is perfectly great or evil, idk what the point of comparing two countries heading down two different paths is accomplishing here on a valorant forum.
