it's just the most competitive region by far - last season's champs teams losing just proves that
the slop that we've seen so far says otherwise
there's no tactical prowess in this region

Brazil is getting carried on the back of Aspas and the whole of NA even on the VCT stage and you talk of VCL sure. dgzin , neon, blowz , virtyy are all from BR t2 and then you say brazil got skills>> EMEA. NRG is breathing due to keiko and bonkar. SEN would have no shit if it wasn't for JohnQT. except, Sato and Darker maybe , i don't see any Brazillian player shining decenty. keiko only joined nrg this year, he wasn’t part of nrg’s championship-winning core in 2025. bringing him up makes no sense, and so far at kickoff nrg’s best player is mada.
bonkar is definitely a top 3 coach in the world, but he doesn’t play for the team. the five players who were actually on the server at champions earned it on their own, and none of them were from emea. (they beat champions against your flair btw)

sato, blowz, spike, artzin, lukxo are all brazilian players who are playing well in the league right now.
in 2025, cortezia, sato and lukxo were brazilian rookies with some of the best international numbers statistically. one of them was even top 5 at champions.

MIBR have at least made a international playoff last year with aspas posting the best performance in history

please send me the highlights of MIBR doing sh!t before riding aspas.or even send me vods of toronto where Liquid almost defeated PRX(the champs. Aspas is one of the G.O.A.T. players and can make teams great and bad (LEV and LOUD for instance). So making internationals at the grace of aspas is something i shouldn't have been proud of.

the fact you bring up MIBR only making it because of aspas makes it even more embarrassing for liquid that they had players like nats trexx keiko and still couldn't get out of groups
How does MIBR getting into playoffs make it embarrasing for TL. even if they have good players doesn't make them immune to losing. even 2023 SEN or 2024 NRG had the greatest players , but they couldn't do anything but EG and LEV did in the respective years , but you wouldn't hame them. If the chemistry doesn't work , even Aspas can be equivalent of urango.
it's embarrassing because MIBR, a team that didn't even make REGIONAL PLAYOFFS, is outperforming TL, the NUMBER ONE SEED of their region
TL 2025 is literally potential man at its finest
even 2025 NRG didn't make top 6 in kickoff or stage 1 (if i remember correctly) but they won champs and 2025 T1 got grouped in champs, the supposed superteam. You don't embarras T1 or even VIT cuz of that , its that chemistry wasn't good among the players and they couldn't bag results apart frm Bangkok. Both of them were the epitome of potential even more than TL . Its simple . Peace out . Good night/day. Period.
TL is the only group that bombed out in groups after winning their whole region
T1 were playing badly before then, and VIT were already compromised, TL looked like one of the contenders to win it all
no matter which way you slice it, the way they performed at champs was a complete disappointment

idk to me it seems that every EMEA team in lower/mid bracket is just terrible
All the top 4 teams from last year from each region have relatively underperformed compared to expectation (DRX, PRX, T1, EDG, BLG, G2, NRG, SEN, FNC, TL, TH).
The only ones meeting expectations so far are XLG and MIBR.
Meanwhile, so many surprises like FUR, AG, NS, FS, M8.
I haven’t watched RRQ games or highlights so I just conveniently left them out

Maybe you think that cuz other regions are not competitve and EMEA is competitive , which makes it look average but is fierce.
I don't watch other regions much so idk them but they can't be that bad some of our matches are so hard to watch. Some of tier2 matches are better ngl
how does literally anyone think emea is the best region, they’re third at best rn. it goes Pacific > Americas > CN > EMEA
emea matches so far were so mentally hazardous to watch and those fans who watched now in dementia which make them forgot everything they watched. The only stable memory is from 2025 when emea was strong so they are living with that delusion right now.
