Do you see them as brazilian teams even with the mixed lineup?
this is a bit weird ngl, idk about other competitive games but in csgo even if german org(sk for ex) hired a brazilian squad (as they did), the team would play in the the same region as most of the players in the roster are from
valorant is franchised, brazilian orgs were specifically chosen to represent brazil
But for me the players are more representative than the org. If Drx had 5 japanese players they would be more conected with japan i think
idk man owner is Indian , started as an indian team like most Brazilian teams later signed foreign players
true i agree i just dont think most ppl actively think of them as an indian team like how they do with mibr or furia being brazilian
well both mibr and furia were predominately filled brazilan / SA players till last yr but that cannot said for GE
Both is even more brazilian than MIBR, the coach and assistant coach are brazilians
GE still kept the Indian flag even after two years without an Indian player
you just had to believe hard enough
both have 1 brazilian player and 1 brazilian coach, plus mainly based in brazil
Furia is Canadian, MIBR is Brazilian
Any team with Aspas on it is Brazilian to me
we had this same conversation about lev on 2024 why is this shit happening again? the team aint brazilian but the org is brazilian and they have brazilians on the team so if a brazilian decides to support them its fair
aspas practically owns mibr so yes
furia has br coaches and br igl so also yes
Furia has 4 brazilians in it
Shaw + Kamino + Artzin + Basic
Mibr has 3
Aspas + Verno + Zekken
I would say it's a truly Americas team. Take teams like G2, Falcons or NAVI in CS2: they are recognised as European teams, nobody calls G2 German or Falcons Saudi. I know Americas are not as united as European countries but hey it's the same.
