I am really happy zekken and MIBR won today but this just reminded me of how bad the SEN comps were last year. Kaplan really saw everyone playing yoru and PRX turning around their season just because something learned yoru and just said "Nah we will not play any yoru, lets try narrate on breach and john on sova instead, surely this will work out".
Zekken dropped 1.35 rating on reigning world champions on Yoru and got like 15 first kills on 2 maps.

And now Kaplan is forcing NARRATE to play waylay on every map even when he looks so uncomfortable on it. SEN need coach change

kaplan is a good interpersonal coach but his meta reads are very inconsistent

Did you watch VCT last year? Zekken played a lot of yoru until champs where Sen couldn't really play it because they couldn't really play double duelist.

SEN didnt play yoru after tejo nerfs and when they played occasional double duelist it was Narrate on yoru instead of zekken.

Okay you def didn't watch VCT last year because Zekken was basically playing Yoru up until stage 2 and n4rrate didn't play yoru or even duelist for that matter a single time all season after he didn't do well on it in the offseason

How are you arguing me about what SEN played last year? I am saying they didnt put zekken on yoru after tejo nerfs and they did in fact play double duelist as you can see from the game above.

They did put zekken on yoru after tejo nerfs just look at the first game of stage 2, and Sen also played yoru during toronto which was after the tejo nerfs. Also this game proves my point that Sen couldn't play double duelist because they weren't good at it and n4rrate couldn't play yoru.

They only played Yoru on Split at Toronto and played only 1 yoru(zekken) on only Ascent in the 1st game against G2 in stage 2. Zekken didnt play single yoru after that game and SEN perma banned Ascent till the end of the season.

But Narrate could play raze, jett, yoru stuff because he played it on KC. And on KC Marteen was playing yoru and Narrate was playing dive duelist and it was working there. They just needed to replicate that on SEN

they stopped the yoru cus the double duelist sucked with zekken and narrate. Zekkens waylay was pretty ass as well

Narrate was playing Yoru at that time not zekken and they dont have to force waylay. Just put zekken on yoru and narrate on traditional dive duelist. This just works much better because zekken is more reserved player but narrate just sends it. It wouldve been much better

maybe they tried it in scrims and wasn’t good. We saw them play double duelist and they didn’t win at all
