Any reason poor performing teams shouldn’t make roster changes to fix role issues or swap out a poor performer after kickoff? Is there any instances of teams who started the year bad, changed nothing and improved a significant amount?

I guess if you have a very young roster and it’s more about the talent but there seems to be an excess of really good players in tier 2 and even some tier 1 guys just not on a team.

some teams in tier 1 knows that it's not worth it anymore.
2026 is probably the last time they will be a franchise team, and changing shit will just make them lose more money

Having a new player means having to get a new contract for the player, negotiate the prices, fly the player over, figure out accomodations, etc... It's becomes pretty expensive instead of just trying to fix the issues with the current player.
