He hasn't won a big game since Sen won against G2 in stage 2 of 2025 and even then he was already looking lost in the meta and has only gotten worse

bang and Zellsis was pretty bad being part of the failure . Kaplan went more standard comps towards the end cus they literally couldn’t work the double duelist meta with yoru and waylay. there must be some reason he tried to no scan comps , he can always change back it’s not that difficult
his defence sides have looked god awful for a whole year if im being honest
no matter the players he has it seems impossible for them to play any style that isnt retake and last year that style was completely solved like a rubiks cube
the retake playstyle looks readable so he needs to mix it with some anchoring . He has lots to work on but I think he will stay for this season no matter how bad they do now

it reflects really poorly on him as a coach that multiple iterations of the team can only successfully play retake
Kaplan is a good coach. And knows how to structure a team in terms of practice. Meta reads and comps is not all there is to coaching though still important which is why analysis exist. -Gunter +Drew
