How is every ranking and pickem has same 3 out of 4: NRG, G2, MIBR and LEV going to Santiago?

I feel like Americas this year is so close especially in kickoff.

G2 practically making 2 changes with leaf role swapping and meta is going into more shooting than util so the gap G2 has between other teams is smaller.

NRG had a miracle consistent form at the end of the year and still played lots of close matches so I wont be surprised to see them in 3rd lower bracket.

MIBR started to prac literally a week ago

LEV literally has to sub out one of their star players at the start

Meanwhile, SEN had a good off-season

C9 and 100T rosters looks really good on paper, 3 heavy fraggers and 2 really good support players

NV will catch so many teams off-guard especially in the start, even tho they mightve scrimmed NV, match experience is still different

LOUD always play close games and might upset anyone

Even EG roster doesnt look like push-over.

I would be really surprised if one of SEN, C9 and 100T dont make a run and make Santiago

sentinels, leviatan and mibr are the teams i’d like to qualify, and i think it’s totally possible that it happens

besides c9, envy and furia, i believe everything else will be really contested

C9 and EG have more unknowns than established teams like G2 and NRG:

We don’t know how good c0m and zellsis are when it comes to the IGL role, being a mid rounder and a full time IGL are two different things. EG language barrier with dgzin will be a concern regardless if his english is good or not, C9 has experimented with players on different roles in the offseason so who knows what they’ll play when the season starts.

As for LOUD: they only managed to squeak one win with their core in 2025 which they kept going into this season, it’s not unreasonable for people to doubt them.

100T has the Asuna Cryo and Bang trio as their core which has seen mostly mediocre results asides from Stage 1 2024

I wouldnt say NRG is established team. It just feels like NRG is gonna lose games and gonna get upset by other mid-table teams.

I agree there are some questions about C9, EG and even SEN but one of them have to turn out really good, especially SEN. I have really high hopes for this roster especially for reduxx and cortezia.

I also agree with 100T that they are gonna be definiton of mid but I just didnt wanna sound biased towards SEN.

That goes for every top team in any region. For example G2 almost lost to LEV (didn’t make playoffs), C9 (bombed out of playoffs), 100T, and EG in stage 1, sure they were dominant all year but it was a lot closer than people think.

While I do agree that NRG will lose games and get upset especially with the other top teams leveling up, they’ve shown that they can bounce back from these losses and improve on their game just like in Stage 2. And yes they are an established team, they have been so since they formed their roster with the 4 player core that won champs.
